Rahul reached Sansad Marg police station with the person injured by pellet gun, adamant on registering the case.

Tezzbuzz Desk – The issue of pellet guns being fired allegedly during the students' protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi is gaining momentum. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi reached Sansad Marg police station in Delhi on Friday demanding registration of a case and investigation in this matter. Rahul Gandhi also took with him the person who was injured by the pellet gun during the demonstration.

Rahul Gandhi has been continuously alleging that pellet guns were used by the police during the students' demonstration. Now he has registered an FIR in this matter and has intensified his demand for investigation.

Rahul reached the police station with the injured person.

While reaching the police station, Rahul Gandhi also took with him the person who was injured by the pellet gun. He says that action should be taken against the policemen responsible in this case and the entire incident should be investigated impartially.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had also reached the DCP office to get information about the progress made so far in the investigation regarding the use of pellet guns.

Rahul Gandhi wants to register a case against those policemen who are accused of using pellet guns during the protest. According to reports, he first reached Mandir Marg police station and requested to lodge an FIR.

However, after the police did not register the case, Rahul Gandhi left to meet DCP Central.

Said- pressure will continue till the case is registered

Rahul Gandhi made it clear that until a case is formally registered in this matter, he will not back down from his demand. He has demanded investigation into the matter and action against those responsible.

This step of Rahul Gandhi regarding the alleged use of pellet gun has come at a time when questions are already being raised regarding the student protest at Jantar Mantar and the police action during that time. Now everyone's eyes are on what action the police takes in this matter and whether an FIR is registered or not.
