Gonda: Former President of the Indian Wrestling Association and former BJP MP from Kaiserganj, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh (Former BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh) has taken a very tough stance against adulterated food items and analog dairy products being sold in the country. During the Student Felicitation Ceremony, while honoring the meritorious students, he spoke openly from the stage on many important issues related to health, Swadeshi and politics.

Concern over counterfeit foods and adulteration
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh cautioned the people and said that consumers themselves have to understand what they are eating in the plate. He said that if an honest campaign is launched against adulteration in the country, there will be an outcry in the entire country. Giving the example of mathematics, he explained that when one kg of oil is made from mustard which is available for Rs 65-70 per kg, then how can pure oil be available in the market for Rs 150 to Rs 200?
He quipped that he has been raising the issue of fake ghee, oil and mawa for 20 years, but only now WHO and the government are alerting him. Praising the steps taken by the government, he also said that this step should have been taken long ago, because today deadly diseases like cancer are spreading in every household.
Sharp attack on Baba Ramdev

Taking aim at yoga guru Baba Ramdev who talked about the movement, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh reminded of old things. He said that the Baba who had come out with the slogan of Swadeshi, has today started selling even foreign style undergarments. He sarcastically said that those talking about the movement should come to the field, but people have not forgotten how they ran away wearing salwar suits.
Attack on farmer interest and opposition
He openly took the side of farmers on the issue of sugar prices. He said that when the prices of diesel, petrol, tractors and motorcycles are increasing, then why is there an uproar if the farmer's sugar becomes a little expensive?
While targeting the opposition, he used the word cockroach Janata Party and said that they are jumping around confused. The opposition wants to shine its politics by placing a gun on the shoulders of the students. Referring to Anna Hazare's movement, he said that he has seen what came out of that movement in Delhi. Movement does not provide permanent solution to any problem.
