New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a tour of West Bengal today. During this time, while addressing a program in Siliguri, he made allegations targeting the former Chief Minister of the state and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee. Shah said, it is necessary to completely fence the border to stop infiltration. We are tired of fighting with Mamata Banerjee but she did not give land to BSF. Once I also went to his office, I said that the land should be given to BSF and not to BJP. She did yes but did not give the land as long as she was in power.

During this, Shah also mentioned the Independence Day celebrations. Home Minister said, this time the 80th Independence Day celebration was something different. After 150 years and after 80 years of independence, the countrymen and the world heard the song of Vande Mataram in full form from the Red Fort. This immortal work of Bankim Babu, which not only gave momentum to our freedom movement, also gave a goal as to what independent India would be like. By writing a single song and a single book, he decided that independent India should move forward by embracing cultural nationalism.
