Jumbo block will be taken by Western Railway on the suburban section between Borivali and Bhayandar stations on the midnight of Saturday/Sunday i.e. 22/23 August, 2026 for maintenance of track, signaling system and overhead equipment.
According to a press release issued by Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, a 4-hour jumbo block will be taken from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs on the midnight of 22/23 August, 2026 on Up and Down slow lines. During the block period, all Up slow line trains will run on Up fast line between Virar/Vasai Road to Borivali/Goregaon. Similarly, all Virar bound Dn slow line trains will operate on Dn fast line between Goregaon to Vasai Road/Virar.
There will be no daytime block on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
