The company claims that this is the world's first gimbal camera that shoots 4K vertical video directly in 9:16 frame. 3,399 yuan price and powerful leica optics
The company has currently announced the launch of Insta360 Luna Pro in the Chinese market. There its price has been fixed at 3,399 yuan (approximately 48,000 Indian rupees). Earlier, the company had introduced Luna Ultra in the same series, but in the Pro model, special attention has been paid to vertical shooting.
The main specifications and features of the camera are as follows:
- 1-inch Sony sensor: This sensor records 4K vertical video in 9:16 aspect ratio at 30fps without frame cropping.
- Leica Summicron F1.8 Lens: It is equipped with a premium optical lens from Leica, which supports 4x zoom (2x lossless zoom).
- 3-Axis Stabilization and AI Tracking: The video remains completely stable even in moving locations. The AI model onboard improves image quality.
- Color and Cinematic Filters: For better color grading, it comes with 3 presets (Chrome, Natural, Vivid) and 6 cinematic filters from Leica. Color settings can also be shared through QR code.
- Color Temperature Sensor: The in-built sensor automatically determines the white balance by sensing the surrounding lighting conditions.
Detachable screen and 80% charging in 23 minutes
On the lines of Luna Ultra, it also has a detachable touchscreen remote. This remote works as a wireless controller up to a distance of 20 meters, allowing live image transmission and camera control even from a distance. For audio, it has support for in-built wireless microphone.
The device has a 1,550mAh battery, which gives a backup of about 4 hours on a single charge. With the help of fast charging technology, this camera gets charged up to 80 percent in just 23 minutes. It also has 47GB in-built storage.
