With the objective of providing quality education, nutritious food and better educational environment to the children studying in the schools of the district, regular on-site inspection of the schools is being conducted by the officials on the instructions of District Magistrate Charchal Gaur. Special emphasis is being laid on assessing the actual condition of schools through inspection and removing the deficiencies in a timely manner.
During the inspection, officers are reaching the classrooms and talking directly to the children and assessing their level of studies, attendance and learning. The actual status of educational quality is also being tested by asking children questions related to the curriculum.
To ensure the quality of the mid-day meal, officials are directly verifying the quality, taste, cleanliness and compliance with the prescribed menu by sitting with the children and taking the food themselves. Apart from this, the basic facilities like drinking water, toilets, electricity, cleanliness etc. are also being reviewed in the schools.
The District Magistrate has instructed every officer to conduct on-site inspection of at least 5 schools every week and submit a report and ensure quick and effective disposal of the deficiencies found during the inspection.
The District Magistrate said that the purpose of inspection is not only to identify shortcomings, but also to provide better schools, quality education, nutritious food and favorable educational environment to every child. Regular and effective monitoring of every arrangement related to the future of children is the priority of the administration.
