Here on National Highway-28 four lane, a speeding vehicle hit the bike from behind. In this accident, a woman riding a bike died on the spot, while her husband and three children were seriously injured.

According to information received from sources, Pradeep Yadav, resident of Pyasi village of Khorabar police station area, was going towards Madapar on bike with his wife 38-year-old Sadhna Yadav and three children. As soon as his bike reached NH-28 fourlane near Baharampur Badi Kurmaul, an uncontrolled unknown vehicle coming from behind crushed him. Let us tell you that the collision was so severe that Sadhna Yadav jumped and fell on the other side of the divider and died on the spot due to serious head injury.

Treatment of the injured continues in AIIMS

There was an outcry after this accident, hearing which the local people immediately reached the spot. The villagers informed the police and ambulance about this incident. All the injured were immediately taken to AIIMS Gorakhpur for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors.

Police busy searching for unknown vehicle

As soon as the information about this horrific accident was received, AIIMS police station reached the spot and took the body of the deceased in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police officials say that a case is being registered as per the statement of the victim's family. Besides, the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the highway is also being scrutinized to identify the vehicle and its driver who fled after the accident.
