The accused got the money transferred through the ID created in their name. The entire amount was sent to the Bank of India account of Jai Durga Enterprises through RTGS. After the complaint, a case has been registered in the cyber crime police station.

Cheating of Rs 30 lakh by creating fake WhatsApp ID

Rajat Sharma, resident of Shaheed Nagar, Sadar area of ​​Agra, has lodged a complaint in the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station. He told the police that cyber criminals created a fake WhatsApp ID in his name and used a mobile number for it. By contacting through this number, an amount of Rs 30 lakh was transferred from his account.

According to the victim, the defrauded amount was sent to the Bank of India account of Jai Durga Enterprises through RTGS. After knowing about the incident, he lodged an online complaint on the cyber crime portal and demanded action from the police.

Police engaged in investigation of firm's bank account

After getting information about the case, cyber crime police has started investigation. According to DCP Cyber ​​Crime Aditya, a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. Police are now collecting information about the people associated with the firm and the bank account to which the fraudulent amount was transferred.

In the investigation, efforts are being made to find out in whose name the bank account of Jai Durga Enterprises is and how it was used after the money was transferred. Police are also investigating information related to mobile numbers and fake WhatsApp IDs used by cyber criminals.

Complaint on cyber crime portal

After Rajat Sharma came to know about the fraud, he lodged an online complaint on the cyber crime portal. After this the matter reached the cyber crime police station. The police are now trying to reach the accused through digital means and on the basis of records related to banking transactions.

Police say that during the investigation, details related to mobile numbers, bank accounts and money transactions used to make fake IDs are being examined. Further action in the matter will be taken on the basis of investigation.
