New Delhi. The weather changed at 5 am on Sunday and there was heavy rain in the areas of Delhi and NCR. Due to which the weather became pleasant. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a period of heavy rain in the next few days in Delhi and surrounding areas as well as in many other states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough extends from Amritsar in Punjab to the north-eastern part of the Bay of Bengal via UP and Madhya Pradesh. Due to which there are chances of rain in all the states of the country. Know whether the Meteorological Department has said that there will be rain in your state or not.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is going to remain active till August 25. Due to which there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in the north-western states. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rain at many places in Delhi-NCR along with Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Punjab and Odisha. There was a lot of rain in all these states in the past days also. Now, if there is rain in all these places, not only will the common people get relief from the heat, but the crops of the farmers will also benefit.

However, the Meteorological Department has said that this year there will be less than average rainfall in the monsoon season. The month of August is about to end. Till now the country has received less than average rainfall. Monsoon season is considered to be till September. If there are continuous rains in September, then the average monsoon rainfall this year may be met to a great extent. The reason for break in monsoon rains is El Nino effect. Due to El Nino, the surface temperature of the Pacific Ocean becomes higher than the land surface. Due to which it becomes difficult for monsoon clouds to reach the ground. This year, due to El Nino, monsoon reached Kerala four days late. After which the monsoon did not advance for many days even after reaching some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
