Washington: The United States has intensified its economic pressure campaign against Iran, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announcing what he called an “economic D-Day” against Tehran. Bessent said Washington has entered the “endgame” phase and plans to use its financial powers to target Iran's economic networks.
