A very important news has come out for lakhs of medical aspirants across the country preparing for NEET PG 2026. The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will officially release the admit card (hall ticket) for NEET PG exam today i.e. 24th August. Candidates who are going to appear for this exam can download their admit card from the official website.
The exam will be conducted in one shift
NBEMS has already announced that the NEET PG 2026 exam will be held on August 30 at various exam centers across the country. The biggest thing is that this time the exam is going to be held in only one shift. Due to this all the candidates have to pay special attention to the time. As there is a possibility of overcrowding at the exam center as it is a single shift, it is imperative to arrive earlier than the reporting time. Late entry will not be granted to the centre, which may jeopardize the candidate’s future.
How to download admit card?
The process of downloading the admit card is very simple and kept online. Candidates can follow the steps below:
First visit the official website of NBEMS natboard.edu.in.
Click on the ‘NEET PG 2026’ section on the homepage.
There you will find the link of ‘Admit Card Download’, click on it.
Now enter your login details (like application number and password/date of birth).
As soon as you login, your admit card will appear on the screen.
Download this admit card and take a clear print of it for future use.
Check these things precisely in the admit card
After downloading the hall ticket, every candidate should check the information given in it carefully. Ensure that your name, roll number, recent passport size photograph, exam date, time and full address of the exam center are correct or not. If any kind of error is found, it is necessary to immediately contact NBEMS via helpline number or email.
Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card
Candidates must note that both the ‘City Intimation Slip’ released on August 11 and this admit card are separate documents. The city slip only gives the candidate an idea of the city in which they are going to appear for the exam, so that they can plan their travel. While the admit card is the official pass to appear in the exam, it contains strict rules including the exact address of the center and the reporting time.
What to carry on exam day?
Candidates must carry a valid original photo ID (like Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving license) along with a printed copy of the admit card while visiting the examination center.
NEET PG exam offers admission to courses like MD, MS and Post Graduate Diploma in reputed colleges of the country. This exam opens the door for All India Quota, State Quota and Deemed University seats. Candidates are advised not to pay attention to false rumors and only rely on the updates on the official website of NBEMS.
