Next-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 125 and 150 will be launched today: New chassis, TFT console and many cool features will be available

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is going to launch the new generation of its most popular bike series Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in India today. With this new update, the company is not limiting the bike to just new graphics but is preparing to make many major changes in its underpinnings and features.

Major changes in design, chassis and engine

The basic muscular look and overall profile of the new generation Pulsar will be retained, but its frame and suspension setup will see major changes. The company can replace the old double-cradle frame with a new single-cradle chassis. Apart from this, rear monoshock suspension will be included in the rear of the bike instead of the traditional twin-shock absorber, which will improve riding comfort and stability. The Pulsar 150 is also likely to get oil-cooled engine technology for better thermal management.

TFT console and high-tech features

The biggest update in the cockpit of the bike will be the new 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. In this, customers will get many modern connectivity features:

  • Smartphone Connectivity and Navigation: Turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts with Bluetooth connectivity.
  • LED Lighting Setup: All-LED headlight unit, new tank extension and hazard lamps.
  • Rider features: Type-C USB charging port, split seat, grab handle and new exhaust design.

Expected price and availability

After the addition of new technology, TFT console and monoshock suspension, the prices of the new generation Pulsar may increase by ₹ 2,000 to ₹ 5,000. Official prices will be announced during the launch event today, while deliveries of the new bike will begin soon at dealerships across the country.
