Our children are being forced to study in conditions worse than animals. Deepke has shared this letter on social media platform X.
The founder of Cockroach Janata Party, citing the deplorable pictures of government schools going viral on social media, said that our children are being forced to study in conditions worse than animals.
In his letter, the CJP chief said that talks about the country's progress are meaningless unless our children get even the minimum facilities. Abhijit Deepke further wrote – Even after 80 years of independence, if children do not get benches to sit, clean drinking water and working toilets, then it is very shameful. This issue is not of any one party or government, but of the future of our children. Every child, no matter what family he is born in, should have a safe classroom and a teacher to teach him.
CJP asked these 6 direct questions to the government
- How many government schools have been revamped in the state in the last five years and how many currently need renovation or complete revamp?
- How many teaching posts are currently sanctioned, how many are filled, and how many are vacant?
- How much money has been allocated for government schools in the last five years and how much of it has been spent?
- How many additional government schools are needed to ensure that every child gets quality education?
- Apart from teaching, what non-teaching tasks and responsibilities are assigned to government school teachers?
- How many government schools currently have computer and digital learning facilities, clean and functional toilets and sports facilities and equipment for children?
