Kolkata. Amidst the ongoing tug of war in the politics of West Bengal, a big statement by former Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee has now come to light. On Monday, Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee made it clear through Facebook Live that she is not taking any 'retirement' from politics.

Not only this, while clarifying her stand regarding the present BJP government of Bengal, the former CM bluntly said that she will not keep quiet until it pushes the BJP into the background i.e. political darkness.

In the live video, Mamata Banerjee claimed that within just four months of the change of power in the state, the people there have understood the real face of BJP.
Mamta also spoke about Annapurna scheme
In the video, the former CM also cornered the Bengal government over the alleged delay in distribution of funds for the 'Annapurna Bhandar' financial assistance scheme being run for women. He alleged that the BJP government is reducing the number of beneficiaries by using ineligibility as an excuse. Mamta said that her party had started 'Lakshmir Bhandar' to make women financially self-reliant, but BJP is doing politics in this scheme also by looking at religion and caste and is not fulfilling its promise made to women.
Also warned regarding census and NRC
In Facebook Live, Mamata Banerjee alleged that the census process is actually another attempt to implement the National Register of Citizens (NRC) through the backdoor, which is being imposed without consulting political parties.

During this, he cautioned the public that people should exercise utmost caution before signing the census form and sharing their personal information, as this may also affect their personal savings.
Serious allegations were also made regarding SIR
Not only this, alleging that the names of lakhs of valid voters were allegedly illegally removed from the voter list under the Special Intensive Revision, Mamata Banerjee said that if necessary, she will once again approach the Supreme Court against this.
Jadavpur University controversy also mentioned
Along with this, former CM Mamata Banerjee also mentioned the Jadavpur University controversy at the end of the video. Referring to the clashes between ABVP and Left students, he alleged that the BJP carried out the incidents of vandalism on the campus in a planned manner. Mamata Banerjee also added that even though she may have differed with the views of some students, she respects them.
