The second season of The Traitors has found itself at the centre of a fresh controversy after contestants Krystle D’Souza and Shahneel Gill publicly questioned how Parul Gulati repeatedly identified contestants who were later revealed to be Traitors.
The allegations surfaced after Parul’s elimination from the Karan Johar-hosted reality show. Krystle and Shahneel have suggested that Parul may have received information from outside the game through a production team member assigned to assist contestants.
However, the allegations have not been independently established, and there has been no official confirmation from the show’s makers that any contestant received confidential information.
Why are Krystle and Shahneel questioning Parul?
Parul became one of the most talked-about contestants on The Traitors 2 after correctly suspecting Harman Singha, who was later revealed to be a Traitor. She subsequently suspected Krystle D’Souza, who was also a Traitor.

Krystle D’Souza calls the alleged leak unfair
Krystle D’Souza, who was identified by Parul as a possible Traitor, also expressed her anger over the allegations.
Krystle questioned Parul’s reasoning when she was accused and said she was particularly surprised by how quickly Parul appeared convinced about her identity as a Traitor.
She argued that if a contestant had access to information that was unavailable to others, it could undermine the basic premise of the reality show’s format.
Krystle also questioned whether a production staff member and contestant could have discussed the identities of the Traitors.
What has Parul Gulati said?
Parul has rejected the accusations surrounding her game.
Following the controversy, she posted on social media that she was “INNOCENT, AGAIN!” and described the backlash as a “digital witch-hunt.”
She did not specifically name Krystle or Shahneel in the post.
Parul had earlier defended her gameplay and spoken about her interactions with the other contestants. She also acknowledged that Aaditya Kulshreshth, popularly known as Kullu, successfully outplayed her during the game.
