In the last trading session, the prices of crude oil had fallen by about 2 percent, but after the increasing economic pressure of America on Iran, there is a bullish atmosphere in the market again. On Tuesday, Brent crude is trading around $92 per barrel. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate i.e. WTI crude is around $ 85 per barrel.
The US administration is preparing to impose more stringent economic sanctions on Iran. US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant has indicated that countries doing business with Iran may be given a deadline to decide on their trade relations. If they do not do so, there is a possibility of American sanctions being imposed on them. However, some market experts believe that amid increasing pressure, the path to diplomatic talks may also open. According to the latest rate list, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.12 and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter in Delhi. In Mumbai, petrol is Rs 111.31 and diesel is Rs 97.97 per liter. The price of petrol in Kolkata remains at Rs 113.51 and diesel at Rs 99.82 per liter. In Chennai, petrol is available at Rs 107.78 and diesel at Rs 99.56 per litre. Whereas in Bengaluru, petrol is priced at Rs 110.82 and diesel at Rs 98.77 per litre.
The lowest price of petrol and diesel in the country is being reported in Port Blair, where due to low tax, petrol is priced at Rs 88.66 per liter. At the same time, in Hyderabad petrol has reached Rs 112.81 to Rs 115.73 per liter and diesel has reached Rs 103.82.
