Heavy rain may continue in many parts of North India including Delhi-NCR. When there is no rain, the humidity can increase. Due to rain, many flights in Delhi were disrupted and diverted on Monday. There is severe water logging in Gurugram and people were seen struggling with traffic jam. It also rained throughout the day in some parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
Similar weather may prevail on Tuesday also. The Meteorological Department (IMD) in its press release issued on Monday has warned that difficulties may increase in the states located in the Ganga plains. The impact of monsoon related changes will be in the form of rain in West Bengal, Jharkhand and North Odisha. There may be continuous rain in these areas for the next several days.

How will the weather be from UP to Bihar?
During August 25 to 26, there may be heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is expected at some places in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in the next three to four days. Very heavy rainfall was recorded in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. This rain may continue.
How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?
It may remain cloudy in Delhi-NCR also. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places and heavy rain at some places. Humid conditions will persist in Delhi. Humidity can remain up to 85 percent.

In which states has it rained a lot?
Heavy rain also occurred in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, East Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Such situations can arise on Monday also.
Why is it raining?
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is located north of normal. The low pressure area is likely to move northwestwards through Jharkhand and North Odisha in the next 24 hours. Due to its effect, there may be heavy rain in many parts of Central India, Eastern India and North-West.
