TVS Motor Company has launched iQube MillionR Special Edition in India. The company has introduced this special edition on the occasion of iQube's achievement of crossing the figure of 10 lakh customers. This new model is based on the 3.5 kWh variant of iQube and its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 1,40,138. New color, premium seat and some new features have been added to the scooter.
Design of TVS iQube MillionR
The most notable change in the MillionR Special Edition is its Aurora Green dual-tone color. According to TVS, this shade has been inspired by the Northern Lights. Apart from this, MillionR badging and premium seat upholstery have been given on the scooter. Due to these changes it looks different from the regular iQube. However, apart from the design, no major changes have been made in its mechanical setup.
IDC range up to 145KM
Mechanically, the iQube MillionR Special Edition is identical to the regular 3.5 kWh iQube. It has the same battery pack and electric motor. According to the company, the IDC range of the scooter is up to 145 kilometers. A new utility storage compartment has been added to the front of the scooter. Due to this, the total storage capacity has increased from 32 liters to 35.5 liters. Apart from this, it also has a Type-C charging port, which works with the USB port present under the seat.
More than 118 connected features are available
More than 118 connected features are available in TVS iQube. These include features like navigation, smartphone connectivity, different riding modes and regenerative braking.
Why was it named MillionR?
The MillionR name is linked to an earlier special edition of TVS. The company's Jupiter had crossed the figure of 10 lakh customers in 2016. Now iQube has also achieved this feat, in whose honor this special edition has been named MillionR.
According to TVS, by crossing the 10 lakh customer mark, iQube has become the best-selling electric two-wheeler in India this year in terms of market share. At the same time, Jupiter has also crossed the mark of 90 lakh customers.
Battery-as-a-Service option
TVS iQube can also be purchased with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option. The company's regular iQube portfolio with BaaS pricing starts at Rs 59,999.
In this model the initial price of the scooter is reduced, while the customer pays separately for the use of the battery. This provides an option for the customer to keep the initial purchase cost low.
