Tezzbuzz Desk: Keeping in mind the budget users in the smartphone market, Fire-Boltt has launched two new smartphones under its new sub-brand Boltt. The company has launched Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo in the Indian market. Both phones have a 6.79-inch HD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate and a large 6,000mAh battery. Boltt Ace 5G has 5G connectivity and a 64-megapixel camera, while Boltt Evo is a 4G smartphone and has a 50-megapixel main camera. The sale of both phones will start on Flipkart from September 1.
The starting price of Boltt Ace 5G is Rs 13,999. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 14,999, while the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage comes at Rs 15,999. Whereas the price of Boltt Evo starts from Rs 10,999 and its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model will be available for Rs 11,999. The company is also giving a discount of Rs 1,000 on both the phones under the Day-1 offer.
Talking about display, both the phones have a 6.79 inch HD+ LCD panel. Its resolution is 720×1640 pixels and it supports 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the screen is up to 600 nits. Both smartphones have an 8-megapixel front camera, which is present in the punch-hole cutout. In terms of processor, Unisoc T7250 chipset is available in Boltt Evo and Unisoc T8200 processor is available in Ace 5G. In terms of software, both the smartphones run on Android 16. Features like Circle to Search and Google Lens have been provided in these. The company has also included AI based features in the camera. Boltt Ace 5G has a 64-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, while Boltt Evo has a 50-megapixel main camera. AI imaging features like Face Unblur and Night Mode are available in both the phones.
Talking about battery, both the smartphones have a 6,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. Due to the large battery the phones can be used for a long time. NFC connectivity is also provided in Ace 5G, with the help of which tapless payments can be made through compatible apps like Google Pay and Paytm. Overall, Boltt has introduced new options in the budget segment with a larger battery, 120Hz display, Android 16 and camera features.
