Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has made its strategy clear regarding the preparations for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections-2027. BSP chief Mayawati said on Tuesday that the party will contest elections in Uttar Pradesh as well as Punjab and Uttarakhand on its own without any alliance or compromise with any party.
He laid special emphasis on strengthening the party organization up to the booth level and making hardworking and honest people candidates. While reviewing the status of the party's support base and organization in Punjab in a meeting held in Lucknow, Mayawati said that BSP will have to prepare with full force for better results in the upcoming assembly elections.
He instructed the party officials not to leave any stone unturned in the election preparations. The BSP chief said that due to electoral alliance, the party has to suffer losses both at the level of seats and vote percentage. For this reason, BSP will contest elections on its own in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
BSP chief Mayawati called upon the workers to unite for better results by facing all the tactics of the opponents like price, punishment and discrimination.
In the meeting, Mayawati asked to complete the preparations for the death anniversary program of party founder Kanshi Ram on October 9 as per the guidelines of last year. Also, on the occasion of 'Public Welfare Day' on January 15, 2027, emphasis was laid on improving the economic cooperation provided by BSP compared to last time.
He said that these programs will help in taking Ambedkarite ideology and BSP movement forward. Mayawati said that the aim of the party is to advance policies that provide freedom from poverty and unemployment to the poor, unemployed and deprived sections and an opportunity to live with self-respect. He instructed to keep the party organization fully active and prepared for the upcoming elections.
