Toxic Box Office Collection Day 1: Yash’s film Toxic was released in theaters on Wednesday 26th August. This gangster action-drama, directed by Geetu Mohandas, had created a huge buzz even before its release. Its advance booking numbers also gave the film a great start even before its first show. With expectations high, the big question now is how much Toxic can earn on the first day and will it be able to come close to the opening of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.

According to the latest data shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, as of 8 am on the first day, Toxic is currently running in 3,141 shows and has collected a net collection of ₹12.56 Cr today live. With this, Bharat’s total gross collection till now has become ₹14.82 Cr and Bharat’s total net collection has become ₹12.56 Cr, and Bharat’s final collection is yet to be reported.

The film has already received tremendous response in advance booking. According to Sacnilk data, Toxic has so far sold 13,74,044 tickets across India. About Rs 44.81 crore has been earned from booking from 24,330 shows. When blocked seats are included, the advance booking collection is around Rs 60.04 crore. These numbers suggest that the film has a good chance of opening above Rs 100 crore.

Toxic vs Dhurandhar 2 advance booking

Advance booking numbers have already put Toxic in a strong position. The film has surpassed the advance booking figures reported for Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which had collected around Rs 14 crore including blocked seats on the first day of its advance sales. The big target for Toxic is Dhurandhar 2. This Ranveer Singh sequel reportedly earned around Rs 62.43 crore from advance bookings on the first day, which also included blocked seats.
