Fake liquor factory busted in Kutch, large number of bottles seized; Two arrested

Bhuj Cyber Cell has launched a major crackdown on fake liquor network in Kutch, Gujarat. Police raided the Adipur area and seized 600 liters of chemicals, 200 liters of water, over 600 filled bottles of 180 ml, around 9,400 empty bottles and sealing machines, among other items. Police have also arrested two suspects from Mumbai and Mathura.

According to reports, the bottles were ready, but the brand stickers were yet to be applied. The biggest question facing the police is where and to whom this stock was to be supplied. Did any shipment of counterfeit liquor reach the market earlier from this location?

Further investigation including questioning of both has been initiated. The action by the Bhuj cyber cell is expected to reveal several major revelations related to the alleged illegal network of fake liquor.
