South superstar Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ has finally been released in theaters worldwide on 26th August. This is Yash’s first theatrical release after ‘KGF 2’, so there was already a lot of excitement among the audience about the film. However, the reactions on social media after watching the film on the first day were not as per expectations.
Audience disappointed with first half and pace of story
After watching the film, many viewers expressed their displeasure over its story, editing and pacing on social media platform X. One user wrote – “The first half of #TOXIC was just torture. It felt like watching a 90-minute trailer. The editing was absolutely bad, there was no emotional connection, and the scenes just dragged on one after the other. My friends actually got up and left in the middle. It was just unbearable.”
A big star cast is seen with Yash
Along with Yash, actors like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are in important roles in the film. There was a huge buzz about the film even before its release due to the popularity of the star cast and Yash.
