This century old temple in Ranthambore is called Trinetra Ganesh Mandir. King Hammir Dev founded this temple in the early 14th century. During Alauddin Khilji's siege, the king saw Ganesha in a dream. The next day, this miraculous statue with three eyes appeared on the wall of the fort. It is believed that after this, the fort's food shortage was relieved and the clouds of war ended. Along with Ganesha are his two wives Riddhi and Siddhi, two sons Shubo and Lava and the vehicle Mushika. One of the attractions here is invitation by letter. Devotees even today send letters to Bappa from far and wide before auspicious work or marriage.

The best time to visit Ranthambore is from October to March. The weather is very pleasant during this time. During Ganesh Chaturthi in the month of September, one can witness the special appearance of the temple and the fair.

The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur, which is just 10 km from the temple. If you want to come by air, you have to land at Jaipur International Airport. The distance from the airport to Ranthambore is about 180 km. Cabs or buses are easily available from the station or airport.
