Chhattisgarh News: A huge amount has been sanctioned to improve the roads of Korba city. Commerce and Industry Minister of Chhattisgarh and Korba MLA Lakhan Lal Dewangan On the initiative of District Mineral Institute Trust (DMF) More than Rs 17.50 crore Have been approved. The district administration has issued administrative approval for asphalting of 13 major roads of the city.
Work will be done on these major roads
Sanctioned works include Sonaliya Bridge to Tulsi Nagar Bypass. Rs 1.99 crorefrom Rishda Chowk to Gayatri Mandir Main Road Rs 1.80 crore And for CC road and divider from Imli Duggu Basti to Khadan Road. Rs 1.74 crore Have been approved.
Apart from this, Rs 1.65 crore has been sanctioned from Podibahar Church to Lucky Big Basket Mod, Rs 1.64 crore from DDM Road to Bus Stand via Lalu Ram Colony, Rs 1.50 crore for Sardar Patel Nagar residential area and Rs 1.45 crore for commercial area.
Many other routes would also be better
From Prem Nagar main road to Kapatmuda Deepra Basti Rs 1.38 crore And for BT Road from Lalghat Balco Check Post to Rishda Chowk. Rs 1.20 crore Have been approved.
Whereas Rs 97.80 lakh has been sanctioned from Subhash Chowk to sub-station, Rs 87.75 lakh from Sonalia Bridge Canal to Sitamani Main Road, Rs 66.18 lakh from Collectorate ATM to Bagindbhar Anganwadi, Rs 55 lakh for Nehru Nagar Ward-24 and Rs 40 lakh from Sharda Vihar to TP Nagar Gate.
Work will start soon on 6 other roads also
Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that the city's Rs 7.12 crore already approved for 6 other major routes The tender process for the works has been completed. These include busy routes like Jain Chowk to Ghantaghar Chowk, Ghantaghar Chowk to Kosabari Chowk, Sunalia Bridge to Power House Road and Old Bus Stand Underbridge Road.
Asphalt work will start as soon as the rain ends
Construction work on these roads will be started after the monsoon ends. According to Minister Dewangan, there are preparations to improve the internal roads of the wards and those connecting the suburban areas with the main roads.
He said that funds have been approved from DMF for many roads, while funds for some other roads are also expected to be received in the coming days. After the end of monsoon, asphalting work on the approved roads will be started rapidly.
