On the eve of Rakshabandhan festival, Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma along with adequate police force patrolled the town Robertsganj on foot and took stock of the security arrangements.
During the foot patrol, the Superintendent of Police visited markets, major intersections, crowded places and sensitive areas to test the effectiveness and security arrangements of the police force.
During this, while interacting with the general public and businessmen, they were assured of a safe and fear-free environment. Besides, police officers and employees were instructed to be alert during the festival, conduct effective patrolling, maintain smooth traffic system and take prompt action in case of any emergency.
The Superintendent of Police said that maintaining peace, harmony and law and order in the district during the festival is the priority of Sonbhadra Police. Regarding security arrangements, the police force will be constantly on the move and a strict vigil will be kept on anti-social and anarchic elements.
Sonbhadra Police appealed to the citizens to celebrate the festival in a peaceful and cordial environment and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
