The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police, acting on the basis of intelligence, has arrested three alleged drug smugglers.
379 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession, whose estimated value is more than Rs 3 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma shared this information on social media on Friday night.
He said that STF Assam today launched an operation based on an intelligence information and arrested the three accused and have taken them into custody for further legal action.
The Chief Minister said that the campaign against drugs ‘Assam Against Drugs’ will continue in the state.
