McRumors Associate Researcher Aaron Paris shared a post on X and gave information about this change in Apple Maps. But the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding this. You can also see real-time service disruptions and bus and train locations in Apple Maps. Also, users will get an alert after reaching their location. You can also get information about the departure time of the respective transport from nearby locations through the Transit Nearby option. This feature allows users to plan trips by calculating the arrival or departure time of the respective transport and pin frequently used transit lines for easy use.
Transit payments will also be supported with some regions and select transport systems. Depending on the system, users can pay with Apple Pay, add a compatible transit cart to Apple Wallet, or use the transport operator's app. But note that the company has not yet officially announced the rollout of this feature in India.
