The makers of Dayra have dropped individual character posters for Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, giving fans their first proper look at the two leads.
The 45-year-old actress plays DCP Ajooni Kohli, appearing powerful and commanding with an intense, no-nonsense expression.
The poster’s backdrop of moving trucks adds a sense of urgency, while police tape running across the Daayra logo keeps the mystery intact.
On the other hand, Prithviraj, playing DCP Raman Kumar, gets a quieter but equally intense look, set in a large grass field during what appears to be a press conference, his stern expression hints at the pressure his character is under.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar and inspired by true events, the film is written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal and Meghna Gulzar.
It also marks the first collaboration between Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, and is Gulzar’s third film with Junglee after Shed and Razi.
