No stamp is required on the boarding pass
From September 1, 2026, there will be a significant change for travelers traveling internationally from India. So the journey will also be pleasant. The rule of stamping the boarding pass at the immigration counter has been changed so that it will no longer be required. Apart from this, passengers will be able to show their electronic boarding passes on their mobile phones. A printed boarding pass can also be used in this. This will make the departure process easy and convenient for international passengers at the airports.
Milk will be expensive in Mumbai
Fresh buffalo milk supplied from dairy farms in Mumbai will become more expensive from September 1. The Mumbai Milk Producers Association has announced an increase in this rate. Accordingly, the wholesale price of milk has been increased by Rs 9 per litre. The wholesale price will be Rs 102 per liter from Rs 93. Producer organizations have clarified that this new rate will be applicable till February 28, 2027. This increase is in the wholesale rate. The price of milk may not directly increase by Rs 9 per liter for every consumer. Retail price may vary depending on local supplier and shopkeeper.
Change in deadline of ITR
The deadline for filing Income Tax Return ITR has also been changed. Last date for filing ITR for assessment year 2026-27 for taxpayers deriving income from business or profession and whose accounts are not audited is 31st August 2026 i.e. today. This deadline mainly relates to filing of ITR-3 and ITR-4 by eligible taxpayers. If a taxpayer fails to file his return by the deadline, a delayed ITR can be filed later as per the applicable rules. But they may be subject to late fees and regulations.
Deadline for LPG e-KYC
Today is the last date for LPG customers who have not completed e-KYC. The deadline for this has been extended till the end of this month. Customers who have not yet completed the required verification should complete it as soon as possible. If not verified in time, problems may arise regarding gas connection or related benefits from September 1. So do this process immediately to avoid damage.
A look at LPG and Petrol – Diesel prices
Oil companies periodically review LPG cylinder prices and announce new rates at the beginning of the month. Hence, changes in prices may be seen from September 1.
