New Delhi. The Central Government has filed a petition to cancel the FIR related to the students protesting at Jantar Mantar. This information was given by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. He told that we are taking the help of Article 142 to get the FIR cancelled. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear this matter on Tuesday.

He appeared in the Supreme Court during the hearing of the petition seeking ban on the march of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). The Supreme Court refused to ban this march to be held in Delhi on 5 September. The court said that there is no concrete reason to believe that any untoward incident will take place from this march. Chief Justice Surya Kant said that the administration is expected to maintain law and order and ensure that all parties act responsibly and according to the law.
This petition was filed by retired Delhi Police officer Rajendra Singh. He said that in view of the BRICS Summit to be held in Delhi, permission for large processions and demonstrations should not be given.
CJP's allegation – Government has not yet accepted three out of four demands
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Saturday accused the government of not fulfilling its demands. CJP wrote on X that the government cannot escape by making unfulfilled promises every time. Three out of four demands placed before the government are still incomplete. First, compensation should be given to the families of the students. Second- The FIR registered against the students should be withdrawn and no action should be taken. Third- RAF and Delhi Police should apologize.

Cockroach Party is going to march in Delhi again on 5th September. He also appealed to the people to participate in it.
CJP had started the agitation at Jantar Mantar from June 20 with the demands of NEET paper leak and irregularities in the examination. On July 25, they ended their agitation after getting assurance from the government and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Families of students who committed suicide will also come in CJP's march.
On September 5, the march will start from India Gate and go to New Delhi Police Headquarters. This will also include the families of those students who committed suicide after the NEET paper leak. CJP had taken this decision after the virtual meeting of its working committee on August 24. The party said that the government had said that the cases registered against students would be closed, but this did not happen. They should not consider our patience as weakness.
There was lathicharge during the Parliament march on 20th July.
On July 20, CJP took out a Parliament march. However, Delhi Police did not give permission for this. During this, there was lathi charge on the protesters. On August 20, the Supreme Court had announced the names of a high-powered committee of 5 members to investigate the allegations of police action during the Parliament march. Former Supreme Court Justice R Subhash Reddy was made the chairman of the committee.
