Toyota's popular premium MPV 'Innova Hicross' is all set to enter the market in a new form soon. Spy images going viral on the internet suggest that the company may launch the facelift model of this car in early 2027. The new model will see major changes in the design and cabin.
Changes in exterior and design
Major changes have been made to the front of the car. It will feature a bold mesh-pattern grille and a sleek LED lighting system spread over the top of the bonnet. Apart from this, the headlights will be narrower and more angular. The new bumper features angled air intakes and fog-lamp housings. While there are no major changes at the rear, the LED graphics of the taillamps have been slightly changed and the tailgate may be given a black trim line.

Engine and Performance
Most of the mechanical parts of this car are likely to remain the same. The 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine found in the current Innova Hicross with CVT automatic transmission and the 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine with e-CVT gearbox may be continued in this new model. All these changes are expected to increase the price of the car slightly.
