UP News: As per the instructions of Aam Aadmi Party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, ‘AAP’ workers have extended a helping hand to the brave daughter Ragini of Ballia district. On Wednesday, party’s state spokesperson Sarvesh Mishra, Ballia District President Pradeep Yadav and general secretary Anjani Tiwari reached Ragini’s house and provided her with a wheelchair, crutches, copy pen and financial assistance of Rs 25,000. MP Sanjay Singh himself spoke to the daughter and her family on phone and encouraged them and assured them of all possible help in future. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Sarvesh Mishra, who came to meet Ragini, praised the vision of MP Sanjay Singh and said, “He has strengthened the spirit of service among all the party colleagues.
The way he has placed his hand on the head of this girl, we are confident that now she will not lack anything in life.” Sarvesh Mishra said that under the guidance of the MP, the entire party is always ready to serve the oppressed and exploited sections of the state. Friends of @AAPUttarPradesh have reached daughter Ragini. Due to the efforts of AAP spokesperson @SarveshMishra_ and Ballia District President Pradeep Yadav, the family was contacted. The daughter has been given a wheel chair and financial assistance of Rs 25 thousand. Artificial leg will also be made soon.
Ragini was forced to go to school by jumping 400 meters with the help of one leg. MP Sanjay Singh said that the story of 7-year-old Ragini, living in Ranipur of Digheda Gram Sabha of Maniyar block of Ballia, is very touching and inspiring. At the age of just 6 months, a tragic accident took away one of Ragini’s legs, but it could not break her courage. That little darling used to go to the school located 400 meters away from her house, jumping with one leg. Sanjay Singh said that when we came to know about this courageous daughter, we decided that we will not let physical disability become a hindrance in Ragini’s education and her path. Wheelchair-financial help started, soon artificial legs will also be fitted. Sanjay Singh said that due to the efforts of spokesperson Sarvesh Mishra and District President Pradeep Yadav, the victim’s family was contacted.
As immediate relief, the daughter has been given a wheelchair, crutches, copy pen, so that she can easily go to school, and a cash amount of Rs 25,000 has also been handed over. He announced that Aam Aadmi Party will soon get Ragini fitted with an artificial leg. Party workers will take her to Alimco (Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India) in Kanpur for the artificial leg, so that she can stand on her feet without any support and move towards a bright future. The smiles of the children living in poverty are our real capital – Sanjay Singh MP said that the Aam Aadmi Party is committed not only for politics but to serve the person standing at the last rung of the society. He said that there are many such children in Uttar Pradesh who are struggling due to lack of resources. The smile of a daughter like Ragini is bigger for us than any election victory. MP Sanjay Singh also spoke to Ragini through video call, inquired about her condition, encouraged her and blessed her to study hard and move ahead.
