Technology Desk: Vivo has launched its new T-series smartphone Vivo T5 5G in India. The company has introduced this phone in two color options. The phone has a curved AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor and a large 7,050mAh battery.

The first sale of the phone will start from September 9 on Flipkart. Under the launch offer, you will get an instant discount of up to ₹ 4,000 on purchases made through Axis Bank, SBI and HDFC Bank cards. Vivo T5 5G has been introduced in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colors.
144Hz curved AMOLED display
Vivo T5 5G has a 6.83 inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The refresh rate of the screen is 144Hz and peak brightness is up to 2,000 nits. The display has 300Hz touch sampling rate and support for HDR10+. According to the company, the phone has got IP68 and IP69 rating, due to which it will be protected from dust and water to a great extent.
Powerful processor and software
The phone has a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. It comes with MediaTek NPU 850, LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo T5 5G runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company has promised to provide three OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the phone.
50MP Sony camera
Dual rear camera setup has been provided in the phone for photography. Its main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, which supports OIS. An 8MP secondary camera is available with it. The phone has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. This phone can also do 4K video recording.
7050mAh large battery
Vivo T5 5G has a 7,050mAh battery. The company claims that it can provide long backup in a single charge. The phone has support for 44W fast charging. For connectivity, it has features like Dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS and NavIC. For security, the phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
