Punjab News: Finance Minister of Punjab and Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee formed to resolve employee issues. Harpal Singh Cheema held meetings with representatives of various employee unions on Thursday. During this, he listened to the demands and problems of the employees in detail and instructed the officials of the concerned departments to speed up the process of settling the legitimate demands.
Instructions to take immediate action on the demands of employees
During the meeting, various demands and problems from the employee unions were placed before the Finance Minister. Considering these issues sympathetically, Harpal Singh Cheema directed the concerned departments to take forward the proposed action related to resolution of legitimate demands.
He told the officials that the proposals related to the matters which require consideration at the cabinet sub-committee level should be sent to the committee soon. At the same time, instructions were given to send the proposals which require financial approval to the Finance Department on priority basis, so that the necessary action is not delayed.
'Employees' welfare is the government's priority'
The Finance Minister assured the representatives of employee unions that the government is working seriously to resolve their legitimate demands. He said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan The welfare of employees is one of the key priorities for the government led by.
Cheema said that efforts are being made to ensure practical resolution of issues related to employees by continuously communicating with union representatives and expediting the process of resolving complaints.
Discussion held with these employee organizations
Representatives of many employees and worker organizations attended the meeting. in these PWD Field and Workshop Workers Union, Water Supply and Sanitation Workers Union, Gram Panchayat Water Supply Pump Operators Association, Veterinary Pharmacists Action Committee, Sanjha Divyang Morcha, Punjab Divyang Action Committee, Sanjha Front CHO Punjab, Community Health Officers Association And 180 ETT TET Pass Teachers Association (Jai Singh Wala) Representatives of were involved.
Representatives of these organizations presented in detail the issues related to their respective departments and employees. After listening to all the parties, the Finance Minister directed the concerned officials to take necessary action.
Departments asked to send proposals soon
The main objective of the meeting was to take forward the legitimate demands of the employee organizations through the concerned departments and to reduce the administrative delays in their settlement. The Finance Minister directed the officials to prepare necessary proposals and send them to the concerned level soon.
