CM Yogi reached Farrukhabad: distributed relief material and land allotment certificates to 1,000 flood affected families, said – double engine government stands with you

Farrukhabad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday distributed relief material and land allotment certificates to 1,000 flood affected families in Farrukhabad. On this occasion, he also conducted aerial inspection of flood affected areas. Expressing the government's sensitivity towards the affected families, the Chief Minister said that they need not worry about anything, the government is with them at every step.

He further said, the government is completely sensitive towards the people struggling with the horrors of floods. I assure you that you are not alone in this time of disaster. The double engine government stands with you with full strength. Keeping in mind your every need, it will be ensured that all possible help and relief is provided to you.

The Chief Minister further said, 24-hour control rooms, flood posts and relief camps have been set up for flood relief operations. In the villages where flood water has entered the houses, arrangements for accommodation and food have been made for the affected families. Arrangements have also been made to deliver relief material kits to the homes of those who can stay safe in their homes.

Also said, we will take effective steps towards a permanent solution to free Farrukhabad from natural disasters like floods. Will prepare to take the dredging work forward on a war footing. Wherever farmers land comes, we will make arrangements to ensure that they get proper compensation. CM Yogi said, instructions have been given to conduct a survey of Annadata farmers whose crops have been damaged due to floods. As soon as the survey report comes, funds will be sent directly to the accounts of Annadata farmers through DBT.

The Chief Minister said, the result of the excellent security environment in the state is that Uttar Pradesh alone has received investment proposals worth ₹ 50 lakh crore. Investment does not only mean setting up industries, investment means employment for the youth, respect and opportunities to move towards becoming self-reliant and self-reliant.
