Bihar News: Friday became an unforgettable day for a family in Ratanpur village of Begusarai. The son of the house and BSF soldier Manish Kumar Singh returned to his village wrapped in the tricolor, but his four-year-old daughter Deeksha was unaware of the fact that now her father would never return home. The eyes of the people present there were filled with tears after hearing the innocence with which the girl replied when asked about her father.
Confidence in father’s return in daughter’s words
Deeksha said about her father that he is fine and loves him very much. For the little girl, her father’s presence was still a part of her world. She did not realize that the person whom she considered her dearest support was now gone from her forever.
During the last farewell, the girl kept talking about bringing her father back. It was not easy even for the people present there to answer his innocent questions. After the video of this entire incident surfaced, people watching it are also getting emotional.
The journey of serving the country started in 2004
Manish Kumar Singh started his service with the 157th battalion of BSF in the year 2004. He continued to fulfill his responsibility for the security of the country for almost two decades. His current posting was in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir.
His health suddenly deteriorated while on duty. He was also treated, but his condition could not improve and he died. As soon as the news of the soldier’s death reached Ratanpur, the entire village along with the family was immersed in mourning.

The pain of the family was clearly visible during Manish’s last journey. His wife Reena Kumari and elder daughter Muskaan Gautam also shouldered the mortal remains. Seeing this scene, the eyes of the villagers participating in the last journey also became moist.
For his wife and two daughters, this was not just a final farewell, but also a moment of separation from the person who was an important part of their family. 13-year-old Muskaan studies in class nine, while four-year-old Diksha currently goes to play school.
Last rites with state honors at Simaria Ghat
Manish Kumar Singh’s last rites were performed with full state honors at Simaria Ghat. A large number of villagers and acquaintances participated in the last journey. The people of the village remembered the soldier’s service to the country and paid tribute to him.
This was Manish’s last visit to the village, but his four-year-old daughter will have the same image of her father as the one who loves her. Perhaps this was the reason why his innocent words during the last farewell made the entire atmosphere more emotional.
