Chandigarh: Police have increased the security of Ankit's family after the alleged threatening video of shooter Satyam, who was absconding in the murder case of Haryanvi singer Ankit Baliyan with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh, surfaced. Let us tell you, in the video of about 17 seconds that surfaced on Instagram, Satyam's picture is visible and in his voice it is said that he is threatening to kill two people.
After the video surfaced, the police have started investigating it. Officials are trying to find out whether the video is genuine or someone has made it using Satyam's picture and voice. The special thing is that the video was removed from Instagram shortly after it was posted. At present, the police is trying to identify the account that posted the video and its operator.
Monitoring of social media accounts also
During the investigation, the police found more than 20 accounts in the name of Satyam, Aryan and Gogi gang on Instagram, Snapchat and other social media platforms. Information about continuous sharing of videos and other content from these accounts has come to light. The police is now doing technical investigation of all these accounts. The aim of the authorities is to find out who is running the accounts and who are the people active behind them. The threatening video is also being linked to this investigation.

Raids in search of absconding accused
Investigation of Ankit murder case has revealed that the incident was allegedly carried out by people associated with Gogi and Pampu gang of Siwah. According to the police, Mohit and Sumit of Sonipat are said to be connected to Gogi gang, while absconding shooters Satyam and Aryan are said to be connected to Pampu gang. In the investigation, Bholu is being said to be the link between the two gangs. Police say that it is necessary to interrogate Pampu gang leader Rakesh alias Pampu in this case.
Preparation for questioning Pampu
Uttar Pradesh Police is raiding many places including Karnal and Panipat in search of absconding Satyam and Aryan. Preparations are also being made to interrogate the accused in jail by bringing them on production warrant. Police will file an application in the court on September 7 to take Rakesh alias Pampu, lodged in Karnal jail, on remand. At present, after the threatening video, the police is taking extra vigilance regarding the safety of Ankit's family and social media activities are also being monitored.
