How would you define yourself in one word?

I would call myself a balanced person. I like to balance my personal life, work and my lifestyle – all these things.

How do you balance things in your life?

It is important to balance everything. Some people are very extremist in their life. If they like one thing then they just stick to it. I can call myself an explorer. I like to explore every part of my life. You have to experience work, give time to family and relationships, travel and also work.

How do you take care of your skin?

If you do gym then it is very important to drink water. If you are drinking about three liters of water a day and also doing workouts with it, then your skin will be good. Apart from this, if you are not taking stress and are happy then your skin will be even better.

Your hair is very nice. How do you take care of them?

I condition my hair every day. Sometimes I even use conditioner twice a day. I believe that those whose hair has to go, it goes. No matter what you do, it is difficult to save them and those whose hair has to stop, they stop. But when we start going to the gym, especially in the early twenties, many times people start taking such things which cause hair loss very quickly. Therefore, when we do gym, we should not go towards things like anabolics. The more natural it is, the better the hair will be.

What do you think is the best quality of women?

Women are very sweet and very sensitive. She takes care of everything all around. Generally men are a little carefree, but women are very intelligent and sensible. She tries to take care of everything. Therefore, when such energy is around us, we ourselves feel better. It is said that behind every man’s success is a woman’s hand, so this is true to a great extent.

Women keep inspiring you to move forward. Be it your mother, sister, wife or friend, they always remind you of your strength. Many times we forget our own strength, but women remind us of that.

What message would you like to give to the readers of Grihalakshmi?

The message I would like to give to women is that they should believe in themselves. The way women have expressed themselves on this platform is really great.

Tell us about your lifestyle?

Ankit: It depends where I am? If I am at home in Delhi, I start my day a little late. Whereas if I am in Bombay, my day starts very early, because many times I have to reach the set by 7 in the morning. When I am on a shoot, sometimes I have to reach at 8 am, sometimes at 9 am or sometimes even at 7 am. I get my me-time after I finish work in the evening. At that time I take time out for myself.

What is your favorite food?

I am a vegetarian. In veg, I like green vegetables, lentils and rice. Dal-rice is my favourite.
