Unique story of Anupriya Nagar
Studying Economics at the University of Bath, Anupriya Nagar's journey is much more interesting than that of an ordinary film producer. The connection between Steve Jobs and Neem Karauli Baba during an assignment piqued his interest. After almost a year of intensive research, the subject took the form of the film 'Hanuman Ansh'.
Start of film production
Anupriya's filmmaking journey did not start from any film school, but from a university project. He did research on Steve Jobs in a module, in which he got information about Neem Karoli Baba's visit to India. Subsequently, he conducted intensive studies to understand Baba's life and his influence. His team did research for a year, visiting various places and talking to people who knew Baba.
box office success
'Hanuman Ansh' was released in India on 7th August and its earning on the first day was around Rs 10 lakh. The film's earnings were slow in the first two weeks, but the situation changed from the third week. By the 27th day, the film's net collection reached Rs 61.38 crore and gross collection reached Rs 72.32 crore. The cost of the film was approximately Rs 2 crore, but the gross collection cannot be directly seen as the producer's profit, as the earnings are divided between the theatre, the distributor and the producer.
