Parrott's performances for AZ Alkmaar were impressive. He scored 51 goals in 97 matches for the club. This performance brought him to the attention of European clubs.
After this Real Betis decided to bring him to La Liga. According to the report, West Ham were also among the clubs interested in Parrott, but he ultimately moved to Spanish club Betis.
The decisive goal against Real Madrid made his debut at his new club a special one. Coming off the bench and scoring important goals can also give him a chance to strengthen his role in the team.

Apart from club football, Parrott has also been an important player for the Ireland national team. In November he scored a total of five goals against Portugal and Hungary in just four days.
