Sachin Tendulkar's new initiative
'Professor Ramesh Tendulkar Memorial Fellowship': Great cricket player Sachin Tendulkar has started a new initiative. He launched this fellowship in the memory of his father. Sachin became emotional on this occasion and described his father Ramesh Tendulkar as his first mentor and said that it was he who recognized my love for cricket and gave me the freedom to pursue a career in this game. Sachin told that he is starting this fellowship in collaboration with his healthcare partner, 'Inga Health Foundation'.
Sachin said, 'When I think about my journey, it starts not from the cricket field, but from my home. My father recognized my love for cricket when no one knew me. He gave me the freedom to pursue it.
He further said, 'There is no dearth of young talent in India. Whether a child picks up a bat, a ball or a book, it makes them special. Often there is no shortage of talent, but there is a shortage of people who can identify that talent and help in improving it.
