Expressway will pass through these 8 districts of Bihar, great news for the people!

Patna. There is big news related to road connectivity for the people of Bihar. Gorakhpur-Siliguri Greenfield Expressway is going to pass through about 8 districts of the state. This six-lane expressway is expected to provide better connectivity to the areas of North Bihar and Seemanchal with Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

These 8 districts will get benefit

According to the proposed route, the expressway will pass through West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj. After entering Bihar from West Champaran, its route will reach Kishanganj and then move towards West Bengal.

During this period, many rural and urban areas are likely to get connectivity through expressways. This can ease the movement of people as well as transportation of goods.

Target to be completed by 2028

This project, costing about Rs 37,465 crore, is targeted to be completed by 2028. It is being said that the maximum speed of vehicles on the expressway will be kept at around 120 kilometers per hour. After its construction, a lot of time can be saved in long distance travel.
