Gautam Buddha University student Akshat Tripathi has found it costly to participate in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The Executive Magistrate of Greater Noida has issued a notice of Rs 5 lakh to the student in a case related to breach of peace. Akshat Tripathi is also a member of the Uttar Pradesh State Committee of Students Federation of India (SFI).
According to the information, on September 4, a notice was issued to Akshat Tripathi under Section 130 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) by the Executive Magistrate-3 of Greater Noida. This action has been taken on the basis of the report of a sub-inspector of Ecotech-1 police station.

It has been alleged in the notice that during the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, Akshat Tripathi tried to instigate and unite the students against the government. However, Akshat has denied these allegations. He says that he participated in the demonstration in a completely peaceful manner. Akshat Tripathi says that at the time of the protests, Gautam Buddha University was closed for about three months. In such a situation, he was not attending classes regularly.
He also claimed that he was injured in the Delhi Police action against protesters during CJP's Parliament march on July 20.

Students Federation of India (SFI) has strongly criticized the notice issued to Akshat Tripathi. The organization has called it an attempt to intimidate and put pressure on students exercising their right to protest.
SFI says that issues related to paper leak, unemployment and education system were raised in the Jantar Mantar protest. The organization has accused the Uttar Pradesh government and police of misusing law and order provisions to suppress the voice of dissent.
SFI claimed that action has been taken against Akshat Tripathi despite the instructions of the Supreme Court regarding the protesters at Jantar Mantar. The organization alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government and police are ignoring the orders of the Supreme Court.
The student organization has demanded immediate withdrawal of the notice issued to Akshat Tripathi. The organization also alleged that during the demonstration, attacks were carried out on people protesting peacefully, whose aim was to disrupt the movement.
