Toll Plaza New Rule: If you also travel by your car, then this news is for you. Because now that system is going to be started in the National Highway, in which you will not have to stop for toll. However, this does not mean that you will not have to pay toll. Toll will be deducted through the automatic system. The only convenience you will get is that you will not have to wait and your time will be saved. Know how this facility will work?
Often every vehicle passing through a toll plaza has to stop to pay toll. During this time, sometimes long lines are formed, due to which it takes a lot of time. This is often seen during festivals. But now preparations are being made to change it. It will be used at three toll plazas in Tamil Nadu. If the experiment is successful, it will be implemented across the country in the coming time.
How will the toll be deducted?
Actually, National Highway is going to start multi lane free flow system in Tamil Nadu. In which cameras will read the number plates installed in vehicles. Automatic number plate reader cameras will be used for this. With its help, number plates of fast moving vehicles can also be read easily. Fastag will be identified through RFID i.e. radio frequency and toll will be deducted.
Trial will be held at three toll plazas
Currently, on a trial basis, it will be done from three toll plazas of Tamil Nadu, Paranur, Nelimi and Chennasamudram. According to the information, more than 75,000 passenger cars pass through these three places every day.
The biggest question is, if there is no Fastag recharge…
If there is no money in your Fastag, you will soon receive an e-notice. Through which challan can be made. In case of low balance, if you recharge within 72 hours, you will not have to pay any extra money. If payment is made after 72 hours, double charges will have to be paid.
