Pune/Sports News: RCBC Legends team dominated the 'Vyohar-Deccan Gymkhana Karandak' Q Sports Interclub League 2026 tournament organized by Deccan Gymkhana Club by registering two consecutive victories. On the other side, Corinthian Gladiators and Puna Club Magicians both battled it out with one each (Sports) won.
The series matches held at the Billiards and Snooker Halls of Puna Club, RCBC and Corinthian Club saw very tight results. In the first match, Corinthian Gladiators beat Pune Club Magicians 3-2 in a hard-fought match. Rajiv Lal of Corinthian defeated Kapil Punjabi 151-144 in the first innings.

A runaway victory for the Corinthian gladiators
Pune Club's Vignesh Sanghvi easily defeated Viraf Bokdawala 62-18 to level the score at 1-1. In the doubles match, Corinthian's Zubir Sheikh and Vineet Parkeria defeated Angad Sahani and Anil Kakade 62-49. In the next match, Pune Club's Dinesh Mehtani defeated Siddharth Verma 47-35 to level the score at 2-2. In the decider, Corinthian's Rajat Faraswal sealed the team's victory with an unexpected result, defeating top seed Suraj Rathi 73-29.
Revenge for loss to Puna Club Magicians
In the return match, Pune Club Magicians staged an amazing comeback. They overcame their earlier defeat by defeating the Corinthian Gladiators 3-2. From Pune Club, Suraj Rathi, Vignesh Sanghvi and Kapil Punjabi won individual matches at crucial moments to lead the team to success.

One sided dominance by RCBC legends
The RCBC Legends team dominated RCBC All Stars in both the home and return matches. They made it two consecutive wins with a resounding 5-0 win in the first leg and 4-1 in the second leg. Rishi Ramaiah, Vijay Nachani, Pankaj Sahani, Zubin Registrar and Zakil Patel performed well for the team.
