UAE team could score only 69 runs in response to small target

UAE had a very bad start to chase the small target of 104 runs given by Bangladesh. Bangladeshi bowlers kept pressure on UAE from the beginning with their accurate bowling attack. Bangladesh's bowlers did not give UAE any chance to score runs freely in the powerplay. Batsmen like Tirtha Satish (10 runs) and Hina Hotchandani (6 runs) were seen struggling at the crease. UAE's run-rate could never pick up pace due to continuous falling of wickets. After playing 20 overs, the entire team could score only 69 runs at the loss of 9 wickets and lost the match by 34 runs. When Bangladesh team scored 103 runs, it seemed that UAE could pull off a big upset, but Bangladeshi bowlers performed brilliantly and restricted UAE to 69 runs.
