Youth's skills get wings in workshop

Naini, Prayagraj. The three-day (7-9/9/26) skill development workshop organized by the Department of Home Science in the college was successfully completed under the able guidance of Joint Director, Higher Education, Professor Shashi Kapoor and Principal Professor Om Prakash. Students participated enthusiastically in the workshop and showcased their creative talents and skills. Under the able leadership and guidance of Home Science Department professors Prof. Neetu Singh, Dr. Neeti Singh and Dr. Rafat Anees and instructor Juhi Srivastava, the participants received training in making various creative and useful items.

Encouraging the participants at the closing ceremony, Joint Education Director Prof. Shashi Kapoor said that the amount of waste can be reduced by reusing useless items and money can be saved by making items from local and unused materials. Principal Professor Om Prakash said that proper use of local goods and household disposable materials promotes environmental protection and cleanliness.

Prof. Neetu Singh, Dr. Neeti Singh and Dr. Rafat Anees inspired the participants to become self-reliant through skill development and informed them about the possibilities and necessary measures available in the field of self-employment and startup. All members of the college family were present in the closing ceremony of the three-day workshop. After observing the attractive and useful items made by the participants, everyone praised their creativity, hard work and skills. The workshop played an important role in developing creativity, confidence, skills and sense of self-reliance among the students.
