Pune/Cricket: 6th 'Spartan Monsoon League' Mixed Corporate T20 Championship organized by Spartan Cricket Club, Pune Cricket Teams like Braveheart Corporate Cricket Club, Guts and Glory and Serene Strikers continued their winning streak by defeating their opponents in the tournament.
Guts and Glory team defeated United Cricket Club by 109 runs on the strength of Kaushal Asbey's 76-run knock in the first match of the tournament at the Kodre Farms Cricket Ground on Sinhagad Road. Guts and Glory set a target of 194 runs for victory. In reply, United Cricket Club's entire team was bowled out for just 85 runs. United's Karan Jagtap's impressive bowling of 39 for 5 went in vain in the end.

Chittaranjan Ray's storm of 145 runs in 52 balls
In the second match, Braveheart Corporate Cricket Club defeated GSK Cricket Club by a record margin of 292 runs. After winning the toss and batting first, Braveheart's Chittaranjan Ray hit all around the ground and smashed 145 runs in just 52 balls with the help of 11 fours and 14 sixes. He was supported by half-centuries from Chetan Khopde (77 not out) and Jai Dhole (50 not out) as the team put up a massive 309 runs. Chasing this gigantic challenge, GSK Cricket Club's innings ended on just 117 runs.
