Maruti Suzuki’s biggest NEXA offer for September 2026 is on the Grand Vitara, with advertised benefits reaching Rs 3.10 lakh on the strong-hybrid versions. The Invicto follows with up to Rs 1 lakh, while the XL6, Jimny and Fronx carry smaller schemes.
The Rs 3.10 lakh Grand Vitara figure needs some explanation because it is not a Rs 3.10 lakh cash discount. A large part of the headline saving comes from a zero-road-tax benefit worth up to Rs 1.85 lakh on the strong hybrid.
Other benefits include exchange or scrappage support, loyalty or upgrade benefits, corporate schemes and, on select versions, a five-year extended warranty. Offers run until September 30 and can vary by city, dealer and stock.
The Grand Vitara strong hybrid carries the largest package. The zero-road-tax component is worth up to Rs 1.85 lakh. In addition, the September scheme lists an exchange bonus of up to Rs 75,000 or a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 45,000, a loyalty or upgrade benefit of up to Rs 30,000 and corporate support of up to Rs 20,000. Select variants also get a five-year extended warranty.
The exact maximum depends on which benefits can be combined and the customer’s eligibility. Exchange and scrappage benefits, for example, are alternatives rather than two discounts that can simply be added together.
The Invicto is the next biggest Nexa deal. Maruti is offering either an exchange bonus or scrappage benefit of up to Rs 50,000, plus loyalty support of up to Rs 30,000 and a corporate offer of up to Rs 20,000. That takes the advertised maximum to Rs 1 lakh.
The XL6 gets benefits worth up to Rs 50,000. Its scheme includes a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000 plus either an exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000 or scrappage support of up to Rs 15,000.
That makes the XL6 offer much easier to understand than the Grand Vitara package because the headline amount is not being driven by a large road-tax saving.
The Jimny gets a straightforward cash discount of up to Rs 35,000. There is no official exchange, scrappage, loyalty or corporate bonus listed alongside that September cash offer.
The Fronx gets up to Rs 20,000 depending on the powertrain and customer. All Fronx variants are eligible for an exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000 or a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 10,000. Turbo-petrol versions add a cash discount of up to Rs 5,000.
The recently launched Baleno facelift and eVitara EV do not have September benefits under the published Nexa scheme.
The Grand Vitara headline is eye-catching, but customers should calculate the deal from the bottom up.
Start with the exact variant and its on-road price. Then ask the dealer to separately show the road-tax benefit, cash discount, exchange or scrappage bonus, loyalty or upgrade offer, corporate benefit and value of the extended warranty.
A Rs 1.85 lakh road-tax saving also depends on where the vehicle is registered, because road tax differs between states and not every customer will save the same amount. Likewise, an exchange bonus requires an eligible old vehicle, while corporate benefits depend on the customer’s employer.
